Church Spaces

The tower clock is located on the bell tower C on the Neumarkt side. It is a consistent successor to the clock that was installed in the same place until the church collapsed. Like its predecessor, it comes from the Meißen company Otto Fischer and is powered by a mechanical clockwork. A historical model that was previously installed in the Philippuskirche in Lohmen was deliberately used. Three dials modeled after the historical model visually proclaim that all time is in God's hands: with one, two, three or four strikes, the thanksgiving bell Hannah indicates the quarter of an hour and the prayer bell David indicates the number of hours. A second hourly chime was added to tower E so that the Josua wedding bell can repeat the hourly chime.
